Review summary

This was our third sailing on the MSC Divina. It is a gorgeous, beautifully appointed ship. Our room was great and our stewardess was prompt and efficient. The program that MSC offered that matched our loyalty program on another cruise line was excellent. We received so many nice perks that we will definitely sail with MSC again in the future.

Don't worry about the reviews I have been on this ship and it was great. Food was good and service was the best.

The age range was a problem for us. I traveled with a group ranging from 25-47 yrs old and it was not fun! Most of the time we thought we were at a retirement home on the sea! As far as the food goes, I'm a picking eater but I always found something to eat. The food is not as bad as the reviews states. If u just want to relax and do nothing this is the ship for you! We have cruised with 3 other cruise lines and MSC leaves alot to be desired!

Ships are huge and so are the crowds. Look for us at the cigar bar or shows... I will be one of the largest men on board LOL! Say hi!

I believe that if you WANT to have a good time on a cruise, you can. I know I will on the 21st. I (we, but she doesn't know yet) got a fantastic deal on an upgrade to yacht club. I am psyched! We would love to meet new friends.

Beautiful ship. Our steward was good. The rest of the staff don't seem to care. The shows were presented well but very repetitious. The food in the MDR was mediocre. The buffet was worse. Cold prepared foods. I wouldn't sail with MSC for free.

I've talked to them already and my travel agent has to request them I guess but every time my travel agent calls he's put on hold for an hour. I'm going to call again and say they need to send them to me directly because it's getting ridiculous. Leaving in less than a week!

natasha we had to call last weekend and tell them we'd not seen or boarding passes either. They emailed them pretty quick. Maybe give that another shot.

MSC customer service and waiting times for phone calls worry me :( still haven't received my e-docs and sailing on the 21st plus the negative reviews about food and everything scare me. But I'm not very picky and go with the flow so I'm hoping I won't feel the same as all the negative reviews!

We've been on the Divina before and will be sailing her again the 21st and think it is an awesome ship and experience. It is a lot more laid back feeling than the Carnival cruises we've been on but I suppose that's where my taste is? Love the Divina!!!!!

Because it was an Italian line, I was disappointed that the pasta was always "mushy" and the sauces were recycled the next night into soups. Their coupons for drinks were a wonderful idea. I didn't feel there was much to do on the ship's sea days and in the evenings, except for the show in the theater. I just know that I won't sail with MSC again.

We're the same way. I know once my toes hit those turquoise waters in Nassau, the quality of food will not be an issue in my mind.

I've read those as well. But I've also heard some great reviews. My thought is, it just may not be americanized enough for some people. I'm sure we'll have plenty of good choices. That's what I'm hoping for anyway. :) mroth16952, are you sailing on the 21st?
