Review summary

Our cruise on the MSC Divina was excellent.  The ship is wonderful.  Almost new.  The pool areas and decks were large enough and fully staffed to be kept super clean.  The onboard food was very very good.  Different menus every night with some pretty exotic choices throughout the week.  The staterooms were comfortable and adequately sized.  Beds were comfortable and daily housekeeping was superb.  The entertainment staff were all cheerful and went out of their way when needed.  The shows were terrific.  Especially the Treasure Island show and the Michael Jackson tribute show.  We are giving the cruise a 4,star rating.  Highly recommended.  Our only problem with the cruise was the lack of wifi for anyone without paying exorbitant fees.  In this day and age where wifi is literally everywhere, there is no excuse for this.  Wifi is not a luxury anymore.  We have decided not to go on any cruise ship again unless there is free wifi available 24/7.  Other than this one complaint we give MSC Divina 2 big thumbs up.

Darn it! I mean we don't need Carnival high energy but I was hoping to dance a bit. Oh well we r a pretty fun group so we will make our own fun.

I agree. The theater shows are great. But the lack of other entertainment is very noticeable.

If you're used to Carnival you probably won't enjoy it. There's not much of a night life. After their amazing shows they put on at night there's really nothing else to do. There's no comedy, and the dance club on our sailing was empty just about every night

This is definitely not a party cruise but if you like laid back and relaxing it is pretty amazing! Obviously my wife and I prefer laid back and relaxing because we're going on our second MSC in May!!!

You can wear jeans in the dining room. Also the new beer prov show is amazing

days in Nov. Very, very disappointed. If you are interested in a high energy cruise, this is not for you. It would be fine if you are only looking for relaxation. I found the food to be lacking a lot. Gravies were recycled into soup the following night. Pastas were mushy. Lido pizza was the best I have had on a cruise! So not all bad. I hope some of these problems have been taken care of

I went on the Divina for 10

Hi glad you had a great cruise , we are booked on her for 2 weeks in January, are men allowed to wear jeans in the main Dining room? Obviously not on formal nights? Tia .

Never seen free wifi on cruise ships

Who offers free wifi on a cruise ?

eladcrazybull    8 years ago

We are booked in May glad to hear a good review. I agree with you on the WiFi but short of a dedicated satellite up link I am not sure it's possible to get in international waters

I am so glad to read a high rating for this cruise because I have booked my cruise for July and haven't seen really much good ratings as for the Wi-Fi the only way I see anyone get free Wi-Fi on a cruise is if it's giving to you as a bonus for booking the cruise otherwise, I've never seen Wi-Fi free
