Review summary
Spent a 4+5 on this beautiful ship; no true complaints aside from "some" of the service was a little slow. The food was average in the main dining rooms but the buffet was above average with the exception of a complete LACK of salads! Entertainment and entertainment crew were all exceptional. Cabin was IMACULANT! Overall the experience was truly excellent. Four star rating only due to service being slow and at times, several times our orders were not even filled at several concessions. The photo service was by far the worst AND most expensive we've seen with NO video option. Many activities were planned and occurred but the lack of announcements for these was quite noticeable; very conservative environment onboard. I don't necessarily object to that, but a little more information sharing would have been nice. We found the most exceptional part of this trip was the OUTSTANDING cabin service and cleanliness, simply perfect! We also did not know that this cruise was a "rock & role" cruise which was 'chartered' by a famous band. However, due to it not being sold-out the remaining passengers were unaware of this fact and much of the cruise was accommodating that crowd, less on the rest of the passengers; almost like we weren't really there?

Thanks but the travel advice we received did not include "anything" about a rock and roll cruise. I too am a rock and roll fan; however, it was not in our plans and was not included in ANY information we received regarding this particular trip. If I had my 'druthers' I would rather plan on my trip to include, or at least be informed of the inclusion of the fact.
Exactly, there was NO information regarding this being a Def Leppard cruise ANYWHERE. We still enjoyed the trip, didn't say we didn't enjoy it, it just seemed like those who were not DL fans were secondary, that's all. After speaking with many folks regarding the lack of info regarding the R&R disinformation, everyone seemed to be on the same page. Nice ship, pleasant crew, decent food, great entertainment (ships entertainment). We had fun anyway!
