Overall, we enjoyed the Armonia staff and food. Very well organized. Website is poor and gives misinformation as do the customer service people we called. Only need one excursion in Cuba to get off the boat. After that you could follow a tour guide and do the old city yourself.

Manuela, our steward, was outstanding. Wonderful service. Daniela in Guest Services was knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Really helped with ANY issues. She should be promoted to executive manager level.

Thanks to Manuela's service, we enjoyed our rather cramped room.
Ship tip
Do not expect a Holland America or Norwegian opulence. The ship is functional and provides all you need.
Tender requirement is a bother. Our snorkeling excursion with Jake and Andrew and the photographer was wonderful. Andrew and Jake were very informative and attentive. Recommend this excursion very highly. Request Andrew and Jake if possible.
Cozumel has a plethora of tourist shops. Buy after you get a few blocks away from the pier for substantial savings. Snorkeling excursion t the reef with Pedro, Captain Efrain, and Jose was excellent. Cocktails in the ocean. Wonderful people. Mia Playa buffet can be missed!
Cuban customs was very easy. No problem. Havana is pathetic and needs outside money for renovations for their 500th anniversary. People are very sad and do not smile. Wild dogs on our Sunday walking excursion in the old city were a bother. Guide, Yakarta, was great. Did the Hemingway tour, which we highly recommend, since it also goes to the fishing village featured in the "Old Man and the Sea". Nighttime went to Buena Vista Social Club for a really, rousing good time. Great singers and music. Overall Cuba has two main attractions, musicians and Havana Club rum. Other than that the country is devoid of any real attraction. Will probably never go back, but we wish the Cuban people a better future.
