Review summary
My wife and I have previously cruised on Royal Carribean (Enchantment of the Seas). We were impressed with the size of that ship's rooms, large assortment of food items in buffet. This cruise, while it was a great cruise, the food choices were somewhat limited, quite a bit of Asian. We enjoyed the cruise, the staff was amazing! My only beef overall was the size of the staterooms. We had S/R 8018 which did have a window, a nice ammenity! However, it seems we gave up size in exchange for a window. While we did pack VERY lightly, there just never seemed to be enough room. Lack of outlets for accessories also was a problem. I use a medical device to sleep at night and the outlet (the ONLY outlet) was quite far away from the bed. Had to make many adjustments to the room in order to use this device.Ports of call
Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)
Pros: Great service, polite & helpful staff! Many activities!
Cons: Staterooms extremely small! Limited buffet items!
Recommends Monarch of the Seas? Yes!
