We had a GREAT time! The staff of RC Mariner of the sea is what made our trip. Yes, the ship needs updating but that did not take away from our vacation. There is plenty to do on sea days, and everyone was so friendly that it would be hard to imagine a better trip.

The only reason this does not have five stars is that the food at the MDR this time was lacking in taste and quality. The bars were great and we had a wonderful experience at Chops.

Trivia, Bingo, piano sing alongs - all were so much better than our last trip! We also had a great time at the art auction. The people made it even more fun.

The people made our trip! Our cabin steward, MDR servers, bar tenders and everyone we came in contact with always went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and having the best experience possible.

The suite and balcony were more than ample - loved the space! Our cabin steward kept everything clean, the issue was more the age of the suite. The ship needs updating, for example our Jr Suite balcony had just been sanded and was not addressed while we were on the cruise so there were splinters. The carpet and couch also had stains. I missed the mini-fridge, it is just a cooler which was disappointing.

Be ready to relax and have fun! Things don't need to move fast, go with the flow and sail your cruise - not anyone else's.
Sandollar Dive Shop is one of the best I have gone on excursions with and I have been diving with many! I was very excited that RC still uses them in Cozumel.
