will never select RC again. again, 18+ years ago, we took a few cruises and enjoyed the experience. this trip was pretty bad and will never recommend or go on a RC cruise again.

first day, ate at the windjammer cafe and there was a grasshopper in my salad. I brought it to the attention of the staff and not much was done in way of acknowledgment or apology. pretty much ruined most meals after finding that in my salad.

everything was just ok. we went on a cruise 18 years ago and the level of service on RC has definitely fallen and not a priority.

we took an excursion to pearl island. it was a dump. I honestly can not believe that RC suggests this excursion. the majority of the beach chairs were broken. "included" paddle board and kayak was a joke - there were only two and was restricted to an area where everyone was swimming. they ran out of water to flush toilets, so my wife and two daughters used the bathrooms that had not been flushed in a few hours. really just can't believe that the quality control of RC would even suggest this as an option.

Sounds like you let a tiny grasshopper ruin your whole vacation. Also it’s not a boat it’s a SHIP! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Fair enough about the beastie in the salad, but you can’t compare service to 18 years ago! Compare cruising to even 5 years ago and I think most people will agree it’s just not the same!

I am sorry you had a bad time. I was on the sailing previous to this one and we had an awesome cruise. Everything was top notch. Food was great,cabin was kept spotless,crew went out of their way to be friendly and do anything they could. I just find it hard to believe your cruise could have been that bad.
