Review summary

Overall, I enjoyed the cruise, but would reconsider returning due to the number of items that required purchase ("premium" food items at the main dining hall, room service, lots of activities). The Spa and many excursions are overpriced compared to other cruise lines.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation was smooth and organized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The dining food was average. The buffet was better (opposite to other cruises I've sailed on)

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There were a lot of activities, many of which were included. The rock-climbing wall was great.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The Ice Show and Game Show entertainment were great with amazing emcees. The DJs were also awesome, though some of the music was repetitive over the short cruise.

Children's Programs

I did not travel with kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Royal Caribbean excelled in this area. All interactions with the crew were excellent!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was well maintained. All public areas were spotless. My cabin was clean, and everything was in great working condition.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The cabin was fine, but the smallest cabin I've ever been on in my cruise past (9 previous cruises). Please consider providing bathrobes, slippers, hair conditioner and body lotion, a standard for other cruises.

Ship tip

Bring body lotion, a bathrobe and slippers.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
The island exceeded my expectations. I was concerned that there would not be many activities and food stations included in the cruise fare, but there were plenty of things to do and enough food stations that were free. The tram service was great. The island was kept very clean. The beaches were beautiful. There were enough loungers for everyone who wanted one.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We did an excursion to Pearl Island, which was absolutely beautiful.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy, efficient and organized!
