We bought the refreshment package thinking the soft drink machines would be accessible from anywhere on the ship. There were 2 machines! One in Windjammer and one at Cafe Promenade. Food was underwhelming. We were expecting a higher quality more gourmet like food selection, but was mostly ordinary.
Onboard Activities

Pools and hot tubs were good. Not too crowded most of the time. Wave runner, sports court, mini golf and rock climbing were great, but could be very crowded at times.

Although this is a slightly older ship it was very well maintained. Stateroom was clean and comfortable. All restrooms and public areas were always clean and neat.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was larger than we expected. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Anak, our steward was fantastic and kept our room perfect.
Loved Costa Maya! We went an hour away from port to Bacalar to visit with a Mayan family. One of the best experiences we’ve ever had. 7 color lagoon was beautiful.
Vendors at port were a little pushy but not too bad. Once you said no thanks they didn’t bother you again. We went to swim with the dolphins. This was a memorable excursion for sure! We would do this over and over.
