Review summary

I had a great experience on this cruise and thoroughly enjoyed my time. The dance instructors and live musicians were very interactive and engaging with the crowd. The shows (variety, comedy, ice skating, etc.) were enjoyable and tasteful. I also had fun with the game shows that involved audience participation like "battle of the sexes", "love and marriage", and karaoke. The cruise director and activity directors were comedic and entertaining. I was a little disappointed by the food, wishing that there were Caribbean foods native to Haiti available.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was smooth. The personnel were well informed of what could and could not be brought aboard and made it clear and easy to undertsand. They managed the crowd well and allowed us to board before our scheduled embarkation time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
There were many options at the buffet for each meal each day. The main dining rooms offered themed dining experiences each night (Caribbean, Indian, etc.). They made sure to prepare foods separately or offer alternatives for those with allergies.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I thoroughly enjoyed on board activities. The fitness center had more than ten treadmills, several sets of free weights, and machines. The spa/ fitness center also offered classes, sauna, and steam room. Sports were available as play for fun and competition.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Live music and performers were great. The variety shows and comedy shows were nice. Music played by DJs was hit or miss.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff were knowledgeable, friendly, passionate, and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It's a huge ship. One could easily walk 5-10 miles a day onboard.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was a lot of space for an interior cabin. There was a queen sized bed with a couch and space between it and the vanity dresser. There was a narrow hallway with a spacious closet and bathroom.

Ship tip

If you have allergies, stick to main dining experience. They take it very seriously and have a manger that oversees food allergy preparation.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

2 out of 5
There's not much to do here outside of the beach. I wish there was authentic Haitian food and music available. Food served here was good, but of no resemblance to the Caribbean island.

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
The best thing about this port is the excursions and the ability to leave the port. I did the Hampden Estate Rum Tour. I would give the tour a five star as well.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Great port! I didn't do any excursions. The Oasis Lagoon pool had a large bar and DJ booth setup. DJ offered the best music (almost every genre) throughout the cruise. South Beach offered life size games and sports with free play and tournament options. There was a shuttle to pick up any stragglers for ship board time.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
Disembarkation seemed very unorganized. Those who opted to have their bags picked up by room stewards the night before were unsure where to go to be reunited with their bags. There were announcement being made over the speakers, but it was hard to hear and understand. There were signs and arrows of where to go, but employees pointing in different directions.
