Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The amount of options were plentiful, so there's never a shortage. The only reason I gave 4/5 was due to the general blandness of the food. I'm used to food that's packed with flavor, but I understand they are cooking for the masses. I still enjoyed all my meals though.

Onboard Activities

Plenty of options

Service and Staff

Everyone was very pleasant, especially our main dining waiters Marlon and Ari. They truly made the trip for the kids!

Cabin / Stateroom

We chose this room specifically to fit the 4 of us. Worked out perfect and if we do a trip of just 2 we'll likely get the same type room. The balcony is very pleasant.

Ship tip

Take advantage of the main dining as much as possible. Food is better and you are pampered by the servers. They do serve food at Windjammer and main dining even though the app doesn't show it.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Although the security line was really long it kept moving. One of the cruise personnel actually stopped us before we went through security and gave us tips on where to go for drinks once we got on the ship because the rooms wouldn't be ready yet.

Nassau, Bahamas

I've lived in plenty of 3rd world countries so this wasn't a shock to me. The kids had never seen this kinda stuff, but I think it was good for them. Don't bother taking the ferry over to Paradise Island, it costs the same to take a taxi. You'll brave yourself many steps.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

Great island for kids in general. Would love to go as a couple to enjoy some of the quieter beach areas. Slides were a lot of fun and the lines were only long for the tube ride.

Disembarkation

Customs was much quicker than I thought, but getting off the ship took a while. The lines start getting long for unassisted disembarking. If you have time I'd probably let them handle your bags and/or wait until your scheduled time.
