Review summary

We have been on 11 cruises and all in all, this has been the worst one. Between the body shaming from staff, the raw chicken my daughter got and the repairs this ship needs it wasn't the best. I made what i could out of it for my daughters but, royal carribean has really gone down hill. We ha e cruised with them before and will have to think and take some convincing to sail with them again.

Water slides, pools. The arcade was a joke, 50% of the games not working, ricket redemption prize machine not working. We wasted time taking pictures only to have the process of purchasing them to take over 6 hours. System crashes, screens not working, printers not working, and the staff in the photo section are rude and uneducated in the positions they hold the photographers where great while taking the actual pictures tho, especially with the kids

Wife was body shammed at front of dining room, with witnesses. Apparently you can't wear shorts and a tank top if you are over 30 tears old. The main dining room staff however where pretty amazing!

Ship Quality

Ship is getting old and needs plenty of work. Many of the staircase banisters are falling apart, doors not working, air conditioning was mediocre at best.

Cabin / Stateroom

Over all not terrible. Air conditioning wasn't great Found lotions and a couple other various items under the bed from orevious passengers

Ship tip

I wouldn't sail on this ship again. Royal carribean was great a few years ago, they have really gone down hill. I would suggest choosing a different ship or a different cruise line all together

I think shorts and tank tops are allowed when you dine at Sam's Club.

We where on Mariner 9 months ago. Had a great time. We love the Mariner. Sorry it didn't meet your expectations.

Some lines don’t allow shorts in the dining room. It’s not body shaming, it’s just taking the time to read the dress code.

Thanks for sharing your cruise experience. You cruised last month on a different ship and cruise line and did not have a good experience there as well. Sorry that the cruises didn’t meet your expectations. Maybe trying a different type of vacation might be more to your liking.
