Review summary

The size of the ship was nice but poorly laid out. Royal Caribbean is really cutting corners and it shows in all aspects of the cruise experience. There did not seem to be enough staff, the food quality has plummeted especially the Windjammer, no Kleenex in the rooms and other items had to be asked for when they are normally replaced, stirrers used to have the RC emblem they look like they came from the Dollar Store, the daily paper was empty with little printing inside and no inserts and shopping continues to be weak on board. Jamie's was an excellent addition.

I love the Mariner! Basically the same layout as as the Voyager and Freedom class ships.

My husband and I were also on that cruise. I agree that the Windjammer food is not very good. The MDR food I thought was very good. We also had breakfast and lunch a couple of times there and enjoyed it. One thing I noticed was that the Cabin steward puts the tissues in the drawer rather than the bathroom. It was that way on the last several RC ships we were on. Don’t know why they do it that way? Thanks so much for your review.
