Review summary

This was a fun ship with a fun staff. Would have liked to have seen a few more late-evening meal options (there was a pizza shop open but not much else) but overall the food was good. As always, there was plenty of it. I missed some of the extras that I've had on other cruises, but overall, I felt like we got good value for what we paid for the cruise.

Embarkation

Arrival times for guests made the check-in go really seamlessly. We were less than 30 minutes from the time we stepped off the airport shuttle until we were on board.

Food and Dining

There were some things that I've had on previous cruises that weren't included on this one, including room service options, and late-night buffet. The service in the dining room was good and there were quite a few options, both in the buffet dining room and the main dining room.

Onboard Activities

There was a lot of fun things to do, including the water slides, the rock climbing wall, the wave master, and the pools and hot tubs.

Entertainment

First group show was OK. The last show was really good. We also LOVED the ice skating show they put on (we went twice!!). Juggling comedian was very funny and we enjoyed him. The other comedian on the itinerary was so-so. He did an adult show that we didn't attend so I don't know how that one went.

Service and Staff

Staff took good care of us but there were a few things that could have been improved. We watched our toilet paper get lower and lower each day until we finally ran out and had to call for a replacement. So it got missed multiple times before we had to call. I also found my water glass often empty at dinner. The staff was friendly and polite and when they were there we got good attention, but they also seemed to be off taking care of other tables and we'd not see them for a while.

Ship Quality

Ship was clean and we felt safe. Hand washing stations at the dining room entrances, and lots of staff making the ship look great.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5

The cabin was roomy and had a great view from the balcony. It was close to the elevators and stairs, which was an added bonus. Lots of drawers and a big closet for storage.
