Review summary

Excursion cancelled without notifying us. Called rep who was just a robot and did not care. He pretended to drop off the call and eventually hung up on me. I reported it. RC did not care eaither.

Fingerprints = not being wiped down. Elevators not kept up. Litter here and there on floors and stairs.

Cabin / Stateroom

Bed was so hard (no not just firm) I could not sleep. The intercom was broken so we missed ALL of the captain announcements including when to disembark.

Ship tip

Everything is extra and you are expected to tip on top of the 18% automatic gratuity. Soooo much $ spent that I did not have.

Do not expect US customs to be nice! And no one explains where you go to find your luggage. Once you are off the ship, you are on your own.

Sorry to hear about your cruise. We just finished our cruise on Mariner and didn’t experience anything that you did. We didn’t have teens with us so cannot speak to that. Nothing was canceled onboard. Our itinerary days were just switched around but no issues. Did notice that the crew started either double masking or wearing the n95 masks. Service was phenomenal.

Sorry about your excursion experience...or lack of. Was it a RCL sponsored or privately booked? If private, I for one would like to know so I don't use them. If RCL sponsored, very unusual from my experience. May take a while but they usually credit back the costs. They are usually very customer oriented. Hopefully it hasn't ruined your desire to cruise.
