Review summary

Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas is a great family fun/party ship for a quick getaway to the Bahamas. The ship had everything we wanted: great food, great drinks, pools, shows, and plenty of fun. CocoCay was great. The food and drinks on the island were also very good. My husband and I already talked about doing this cruise again. We would definitely recommend.

The food in the main dining room was excellent especially the service. The buffet was okay for breakfast and lunch.

We loved the ice skating show as well as the other shows on board. The activities staff did an excellent job at keeping all the guests entertained.

We loved the themed dance parties on the promenade. The pool dj played great music also.

All the staff on board the ship were very friendly and welcoming. Our waiter in the main dining room was the best!

Nassau, Bahamas

Nassau was nice. We went on the Balmoral Island state park excursion. We had to take a 20-30 min boat ride to the island. Overall the island was nice, lots of beach chairs. Pools were nice and clean. Food is expensive.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

We absolutely loved CocoCay. It was so nice. Plenty of beach chairs. Food was excellent. We also were able to do a little souvenir shopping.
