Review summary

Perfect 4 night cruise. It was fun to be on board Halloween night. We enjoyed the entertainment but wish they would book more musical acts. The last couple of Royal Caribbean cruises have been a bit too heavy on comedians (one who was downright depressing) and jugglers.

Embarkation

Very quick and efficient from luggage drop off to parking to check in. Be ready to pay in full as you enter the garage. There were some folks having difficulty in the cash line.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

We loved everything. Food on Coco Cay is a massive improvement since the overhaul. So many options. We enjoyed all of our dinners in the main dining room. The Bamboo room has delicious handcrafted cocktails!

Entertainment

Loved the orchestra and the poolside band. Wish there were more musical headliners. The comedian and juggler were just ok.

Service and Staff

From the porters to our stateroom attendant to wait and bar staff we were very pleased with the service.

We were in a forward interior. If you stay organized it is plenty of space for two.

Ship tip

The Bamboo Room is great for a real crafted cocktail.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

Took our snorkel gear and saw a few fish. Not a great snorkeling island. Chairs are a challenge. Be prepared to do some walking until you find some...and we only needed 2!

We always stroll over to Junkanoo beach. 2 chairs and an umbrella are $25. Nice swimming beach.

Stayed at the Days Inn by the pier. Definitely a "moooootel" but good price and excellent location.

Disembarkation

We generally walk off carrying our luggage as opposed to using the baggage service. Generally the walk off is only offered for a short period..like 7 to 7:30. Fir this trip we had about a 2 hour window so didn't have to get up quite so early. We were cabin to car in about 20 minutes!
