The Mariner is a wonderful ship! If you are looking for a 3 or 4 day getaway, this is the ship for you! It's big enough to have a good number of activities to choose from. The staff and crew are friendly and accommodating. I went with my adult daughter this time. I would definitely cruise on her again, given the opportunity. Maybe with my husband next time!
Embarkation

Embarkation was super fast and efficient!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Overall the food was very good. We ate in the dinning room and Windjammer as well as at Coco Cay. The food quality and variety were decent.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There's plenty to do on the Mariner. The Escape Room was a fun experience.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The entertainment was good, but not fantastic.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our cabin attendant, the waitstaff and bar staff were all very friendly, professional and efficient!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The Mariner was a nice ship to experience. The layout and design were nice. It would have been nice if it had the same amplified pool area as the Navigator, but no complaints!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had a Jr. Suite, which is always a nice upgrade from a balcony if the price is right! Extra room, a tub/shower combination, a walk-in closet, coffee machine... and double points.
Ship tip
The Escape Room ($20 per person), although difficult and complicated, was a fun experience!
We drove in the night before and stayed at the Country Inn. Lots of restaurants to choose from, as well as activities. We drove to the terminal and parked on sight the morning of embarkation.
Nassau is not my favorite port. We did take a taxi ($4 plus a $1 tip per person) to Atlantis. We walked around, did some shopping and took a taxi (same price) back and got back on the ship. I've done the Bay Street shopping before, as well as other tourist sights. A one and done for me.
