Gotta love a cruise. However wanted to experience this cruise line and was disappointed. It did not live up to the hype. It seems to be all about "class" system and what you have earned.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Went earlier than scheduled time and on ship within 10 min
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Did not find the food in main dining room anything to talk about. Expected much better especially in main dining room. Couldn't get frozen drink unless at pool. Breakfast in main dining room was just terrible. The waiters show, I'm sorry to say was an uncoordinated mess.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Pools were fine. What you would expect. Did play some trivia games. All you get for winning was either a pen or a highlighter. Belly Flop contest was annoying with the cruise director pretending to count a show of hands
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Shows were good. Ice show was excellent. Quest game naughty and fun. Juggler very good.
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
Room steward was excellent and stealth. I like that they still turn down room 2x day. Waiters are understaffed in main dining room. Pool waiter (for drinks) eye rolled and said OMG walking away when my party couldn't order quick enough. Mostly seemed to be older staff, not the usual young and energetic staff you would expect
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Layout of ship was ok. Common area bathrooms not very clean. Weirdly configurated. Never really sure which was actually a door to a stall.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
First time in an inside cabin. Have to say it was very comfortable with plenty of room. Little weird not knowing the weather or where you are, but worth the cheaper cost of the room. Bathroom was rusty around the shower and trash can, toilet paper holder.
Ship tip
If you do not have regular dining time, make sure to schedule my time dining first day on ship. The line was really long for those having to wait
Have been here before, so did not book an excursion. Straw market is beyond chaos. They need to thin this out. Its totally repetitive. Little sketchy buying Ferry tix to Paradise Island. Not sure you really bought them for the right boat. They just hand you a used piece of yellow slip of paper with writing on the back. Its only $4 but if you hand them a five, they say they don't have change. They tell you they leave every 20 min. However they wait till the boat is full, which is really hot just sitting there.
Really nice pool. Did not do the water park. Its too bad you can't watch the people who do. Wasn't crazy about eating at the buffet. It was too hot to have any kind of mayonnaise potato salad and such, especially with the flies.
