Review summary

The ship itself is its own destination, you can elect to overlook the activities and not realize this but coupled with CocoCay’s revitalization, this was a great cruise.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
New check-in process has yet to be perfected. Learning curve of some of the embarkation staff with iPad use was in full swing. Some procedures were not followed and resulted in our party having to provide qualifying proof to get to the suite area.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Unlimited dinning package was actually worth it; ate at Chops twice, Izumi hibachi once, and Jamie Oliver’s once. Chops wins, Izumi second and Jamie Oliver’s a distant last.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There’s a lot of stuff to do onboard, in fact too much to possibly do in 4 days

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Musicians were great, ice dancers were great, the singers and dancers, not that great.

Children's Programs

My children are 24 and 29.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Disappointed at the room attendant (someone else’s dirty socks in the bathroom), third bed not constructed properly, attention to detail was missing. Bar staff in Schooner bar was forgettable but every one else was awesome.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Even though the ship has been “AMPED”, there are plenty of areas that just smell bad, what the heck?

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
On the very back of the ship, very nice sized bathroom, balcony was private but is somewhat obstructed view but it was very peaceful

Ship tip

Go see the ice show (we did twice).

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5
Great pre-cruise area in its own right.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
OK once you get passed the crap of getting off the ship and the hundreds of people soliciting.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Very nice indeed, rented a cabana on south beach and it was great.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Very easy
