Sorry don’t have photos of our cruise as I was going to purchase the photos from the ship but was told that they could not sell them to me after we reached the port of Miami even though I had tried to purchase them earlier. So sadly no photos.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Embarkation was fast. Organized until onboard.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Main dining room desserts the first night were inedible. The Salmon choices were always with horseradish which not everyone likes. Not all bartenders knew how to make the advertised drinks.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
The deck sports activities were closed with no explanation as to why. No sign stating that anything was broken and no ship staff member available to ask. No announcement over the PA system or in the daily activity brochure. Poor customer service.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Went to the comedian and to the clubs. The DJ in the club Studio B was great. The activity director however did not seem to have a good handle on activities.
Children's Programs
No children
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Waiter in dining room at night was phenomenal. Never saw our room steward. Not sure if this ship does a turn down service but if they do our cabin did not get one. Not really very cleaned. The toilet seat had tissue stuck to it most of the trip until I cleaned it off myself.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Not real sure. Seemed clean. I didn’t get to explore much as the signs in the ship were not very clear and I became lost easily. When that happened I found it difficult to find a ships staff member to ask for assistance. Therefore I stayed in the central area of the ship near my room. I never got to the buffet because I didn’t know how to get there.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin overlooked the inside of the ship. It was unique. Lots of storage. Small bathroom so if you are a larger person then the shower will be a tight fit. The dressing area and light were nice.
Ship tip
Buy your photo package before you leave. The kiosk doesn’t work and when you get to talk to someone they tell you they can’t help you and that it is to late and because of US Customs they cannot sell you any photos after they are in port? Funny how I have done that on all my other cruises before and I don’t think I should be left without because of the ships malfunctioning equipment earlier in the trip.
Had the Key experience so we were to be escorted off the ship by a ship staff member. The letter delivered to our cabin the night before said for us to meet a staff member on deck 4. Deck 4 had literally every passenger crowded into one small corridor trying to move one inch at a time. No staff members were anywhere. I went to customer service to explain what we were told and to inquire if possibly we were in the wrong area of the ship. After many conversations any about 30-45 minutes of waiting at the counter after explaining why I was there the ship sent a staff member out to assist us. Our assistance off the ship consisted of her pushing through the crowd of passengers with us following behind her running over their feet with our suitcases. We felt a little rude.
This review is the weirdest thing I’ve ever read. Really, you couldn’t find the buffet or your way around this voyager class ship?! Please NEVER go on an Oasis class! You will probably end up curled up in the fetal position on the floor somewhere 🙄
3 comments. 1)This person should not cruise. 2)Why did she wait most of the trip to take the toilet paper off the seat? 3)Couldn't find the buffet... Really?
I read your entire review. Wow it’s hard to believe that your cruise was that bad. After reading you couldn’t even find the buffet leads me to believe you should make an emergency appointment with your optometrist. Possibly your ear, nose and throat specialist also. If you couldn’t see it you should have been able to follow your nose to find it.. Good luck on your next cruise if you choose to take on the mission..
