Review summary

I have been on other cruises, they great you with employees who seem to be having fun & music. It makes you feel welcome & special. I did not have that feeling with Royal Caribbean

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was good but day to day variety lacked...same things on the buffet almost every day.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Flow rider is very cool & the rock wall is fun. Pool was over crowded

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Shows were good but some of the lounge acts were very mediocre

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
The boys enjoyed the kids activities. Most things started late, there did not seem to be afternoon activities

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Ship staff were friendly for the most part.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Adult only area was in a poor location, kids had to go up or down a deck to avoid it. Should have been located in a more isolated area all the way to the back or front of the ship. The small child area & adult only are could be switched.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We were supposed to be in an adjoining cabin, it was not. Otherwise it was fine

Ship tip

If you want a party vibe goon a different cruise line

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
I wish there was more information about all the things that are on the opposite side if the island! We found this stuff just before leaving

Disembarkation

Very easy

Curious - what's on the other side of CocoCay that was interesting?

I don't think royal gears itself so hard to the party atmosphere. It's a touch more "chill, relaxing, affordable luxury"
