Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The time it takes between the main course and dessert is ridiculous. Generally speaking shows start after dinner, but you feel as though you are held hostage waiting. Many times the kids would leave and go to activities that they wanted to do.

Onboard Activities

If you plan to do the escape room, try to schedule it as soon as you board. We tried to go the first night and was told we had to book at guest services the next day and when we went to guest services we were told the escape room was booked solid the rest of the trip. Don't leave from any ports early thinking that you may be able to do some of the activities such as flowrider, rock climbing, etc. (they are only open during select times). Hope you are lucky enough to see your kids ice skate. It is first come first serve and we went hours before it ended and was told it was booked up. Don't expect the staff to ensure children are allowed to use the basketball court. Adults often took over and kids were left sitting on the side. Just so you know in advance, the paddle boards are for one person at a time. I rented 3 of them and the guy put two kids on them at a time only to be stopped by a person working on a jetski to tell them to get off that only one person at a time was allowed on them. Remember that you need closed toed shoes to laser tag and be on the basketball court.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
The show line up was not nearly as good as Princess or Carnival. Other ships I have been on seem to have many more shows scheduled.

Service and Staff

Most people were friendly. My main complaint was the entertainment and the kids not being able to do the kid friendly things advertised. The crew should recognize the need to open kid activities for long hours so that everyone has the opportunity to participate.

Ship tip

Don't book this ship if your main reason is for the activities centered around kids. They more than likely won't have the opportunity to use them. They actually availability to very limited.

Just about everything in port closes at 6. We were there until 11, but only a couple of places in town were open.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

Under construction. Mixed information from staff. See above about paddle boards. Food was horrible. Worst food of the trip.
