Review summary

The cruise was really good. I loved many things except the fact that cruise companies are out to make too much money. I will definitely warn my friends about spending excess money on drinks, gratuities, towels for pools, paying for water etc. I had received only $50 on board credit which is nothing compared to the $1000 I paid over the actual cost of the cruise. In summary this cruise was really awesome except the attached price.

well gratuities are basically a tip which you can prepay ahead of time, drinks are an optional thing, obviously if you are a drinker you can always grab a drink package if you are a heavy drinker if not paying as you go may be your best bet which i see you had an issue with, i carry on my soda and wine so i dont spend money on those things ... towels for pools? i was never charged for towels you literally check them out and return them before the cruise is over ... free of charge ...

Isn't additional spending under your control? Checking out the cruise line's website will give you very clear idea of what's to expect like additional expenses for gratuities, excursions, so forth.
