Review summary

From the beginning, embarkation was the smoothest I have ever experienced! We were onboard in about 10 minutes of entering the new port. Our cabin keys were already at our cabin. I made sure to set up our onboard account and submit our photos for our room keys ahead of time (as directed). Although we sailed at full capacity, the ship NEVER once felt over crowded. The Widjammer buffet had so many different choices of foods for everyone. My son is a vegetarian and he was never disappointed with the buffet items. Aside from the variety of choices, there was PLENTY of seating, we didn't have to hunt down a table. The Windjammer staff was so attentive, professional, and courteous, I never had such service before. It was a great experience. This is the first ship that actually had handwashing stations before entering the buffet, no sanitizing dirty hands here... 'WASHY-WASHY"!! Oh, did I forget to mention the bar inside of the Windjammer? Another first for me!! The activities on the Lido deck were the usual ones, still fun, though. My granddaughter really enjoyed her 6th birthday. There was a piano player in the elevator who sang Happy Birthday to her. I cannot say enough about this vacation. We have been to the Bahamas about 7 times now, but this was the first time we were able to stay overnight since we were not able to visit Coco Cay (too windy and dangerous for the tender to take us to the island), we went straight to Nassau. We were not too disappointed. This is the first time we have seen our ship at night from land, and it was beautiful!
