This is my opinion. Please don’t crucify me for having an opinion :) 4 night Mariner of the Seas leaving Miami. We started with a mess waiting for the RC shuttle at the airport. It was disorganized and we had to wait a while standing room only. Won’t do RC shuttles again. We got through check in quickly and efficiently. I was pleasantly surprised. My only other cruise was on Oasis and it took forever! Our room was ready right at 1. We had connecting balcony rooms on 7th floor. They were clean and comfy. Had lots of storage and our room steward Michael was great! We loved his towel animals. Food was mediocre at best. Was not that impressed with any meal at any location. The evening service in MDR was great. Really liked our waiter and assistant waiter. Breakfast in MDR was another story. Never got my drink, took almost an hour to get food. Food was like warm. Service in WJ was non existent. Entertainment was good but because the ship was at capacity we didn’t get to do a lot of activities. My daughter couldn’t get a hula hoop on Sea days for the competition and we were there 15 mins early. Same for Harry Potter Trivia. Couldn’t play because already full 20 mins early. Pool chairs were not to be found on any deck on sea days. Pictures below. My son enjoyed the teen room and daughter enjoyed the arcade. Sky pad was cool. Hubby and son did escape room. Said it’s the hardest one they’ve done yet. It they escaped. There were 2 elevators on each side that were down. Taking the elevator took a while. Unfortunately I’m recovering from 3 strokes earlier in the year, so taking stairs wasn’t always an option. Drinks from bars were good. Loved Ed’s special drink in Schooner bar. Showers had great water pressure. Leaving the ship was fairly painless.Embarkation
