Review summary

Refurbished ship is beautiful and designed well. Highly recommend but don’t do the chef’s table as it is in a bad location

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Chef’s Table was wonderful but in a BAD location! It’s in a balcony area in the MDR!! The night we went was the last night dancing parade with loud music and it totally ruined our experience. Most Chef’s table dinners are in a private room. Mariner of the seas really dropped the ball on this one! No

Sky pad is a must.

Entertainment

No headliner shows. Pop up piano player was great. Reggae band at the pool always good!

First time in a suite. Huge room! Larger than a hotel room! Tons of storage we never used. Bathtub in the bathroom and I took a bath!! Separate vanities with medicine chest mirrors. Balcony had chaise lounges and a table with 2 chairs. Hair dryer was poor quality. Magnifying mirror great for make up!

Ship tip

There is a LOT to do on this ship! A weekend is not long enough!

Ports of call

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

Beautiful island!’ Total relaxation. We booked a cabana and had a private beach, buffet meal and private bar! Snorkel right steps away.

Nassau, Bahamas

Downtown shops are so so. Usually we stay on the ship at this port
