Review summary

I would gladly go on another Royal Caribbean cruise again. My daughter and I had a wonderful time. I look forward to cruising in 2020 but not to Nassau. Looking forward to another destination

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Windjammer cafe was good but not what I was hoping it would be. Portion sizes were perfect and very good variety. Was very disappointed I had to pay for food on the Promanode deck. That should have been included

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The biggest disappointment here is now you have to pay for some. Not everything is included

Entertainment

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
It was so clear everyone wanted to help make sure our experience was the best possible. All levels of staff were amazing but room stewards and wait staff were the best

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin steward was amazing always making sure everything was just right

Ports of call

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

3 out of 5
Again this is so much about draining my pocket book. High prices for everything.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
I did not like someone trying to braid me or my daughter’s hair every 10 feet. The way the locals come at you when you get off the ship is scary.

Well Nassau can be a lil tricky, those that like it really like it, and those that hate it really hate it. RC have plenty of food choices, some free and some you have to pay for. There’s an up charger to dine in the specialty restaurants. You can purchase a dining package and eat at all the specialty restaurants or pay for the ones you prefer to dine. I normally eat what’s free and pay for Chops and Johnny Rockets. Our next cruise is only 4 days so we’re getting the dining and drink package. We absolutely love RC, we’re slowly climbing our way to become Diamond members, one cruise at a time... Nice review
