Overall excellent. Very long flights from the Uk so don’t know if we will do Asia again.

It was fine but slightly long compared to the European cruises. A few different steps like getting your passport photocopied.
Probably close to an hour but worth it in the end!!

Apart from one night we had my time dining in the sound of music at 6.30.
Food was fine and the service was on the whole excellent.

After a few cruises the food can be a bit samey as the menus aren’t changed. Asked the head chef who said it would be too costly as staff would have to be retrained!!

All the staff were so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them.
The concierge in the diamond lounge Grexia was outstanding. Always there to ask us how we were etc
Cabin steward really efficient. Only had to ask for ice once and it was provided twice a day.
Ship Quality

All clean. However the Mariner shows signs of needing a refit which is being done soon. Mini Golf really looks so tired so I hope that is completely revamped!!
Cabin / Stateroom

An average balcony stateroom . Fine but a redecorate is needed especially the balcony.
Bathroom on the whole good. However on the last night the toilet when flushed continued to refill and flooded the bathroom. Maintenance were quickly there to sort it out but not good at 3 in the morning!!
Ship tip
We didn’t find a huge amount to do on the ship so enjoy the ports of call.
The ice show is fantastic and must not be missed!!
Our tour did not take us to the best places in Penang. To a fish market and then to Little India!! Okay but next time a visit to the coast would be good!
We did another tour through cruise excursions. The ship is tendered in so all the taxi drivers were waiting to harass us. We were so irritated that we got lost and couldn’t find the tour bus. It took a phone call to locate us!!
Tour itself was great!!
If only the taxi touts could be stopped.
We went back to Phuket after and went to the Fantasia show. Superb!!
