Review summary

3500 people onboard, if you like to be in Grand Central Staion at rush hour, this is the ship to be on. And especially if you like over cooked food, they have not yet heard about "medium rare". And the constant sales pitch for specialty resuarants and over priced drinks, this is for you!!  I realize that they run a business for profit but to much is to much. And $20.00 a day for WiFi come now. I do have to say that the junior suite we had was nice and roomy. And last but not least all ports of call are miles and miles from any city. Except for Phuket. Their excursions are over priced for south east Asia (Japanese prices) Kuala Lumpor is 50 miles from the port of call 1and a half hour by taxi.

As I said the cabin was nice, but you do pay for it.

Ship tip

Well now that you asked, first night we booked their idea of a Italian restaurant, Oh boy. Then their steak & chop restaurant, meat was fine but their idea of creamed corn or spinach is just take some cream and mix it up. No that was not "Special " by no means.

We had our first cruise on her and looking forward to our second in a few weeks. Surprisingly spacious with so many people....food was great...the drinks are no more expensive than any holiday destination. I believe the Malaysian govt is looking into moving KL closer to Port Klang to satisfy inconvenienced cruise passengers.
