Mariner of The Seas Fantastic Cruise

Sail Date: September 23, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Inside

This was my son's and my second cruise on Mariner of the Seas. We just had the time of our lives. We did book some excursions but being on the ship for seven days without excursions would be a total adventure. There is so much to see and do that you could relax while in port and take advantage of ship's special on those days. We found the staff and the entertainment on board to be excellent. The food was very well prepared they have something for everyone's appetite. The midnight buffet will certainly be worth staying up for, bring your cameras or camcorders. They have activities going on the ship all the time if you get bored you are just needed to found some adventure in your life.
Best way to go on vacation and leave the driving to someone else!

Pros: Being on a beautiful ship on vacation

Cons: The promenade stateroom beds should be closer to the window so you can move around the room easier.

Recommends Mariner of the Seas? Yes!

George Town, Grand Cayman
Island Tour & Turtle Farm This was a good thing to check-out wouldn't pay to see it twice you have to be really interesting in seeing different sizes of turtles.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
The Best of Ocho Rios 600 foot water fall is good if you are able to climb rocks in water up a 600 foot water if not they have places you can get out of the rocks and stop.
Don't Miss: The Best of Ocho Rios

Passion Island Escape This was the best part of the cruise for my son and I. We feel in love with this island. You are taking by taking taxi out of town to a place where you board a small flat boat with seats and transported to this Island. Where you are suddenly in paradise. Then you are told you can have all you can drink and eat until time to board the boat back to the ship. There are hammock swaying in the breeze. You have white sandy beaches are far as the eyes can see beautiful blue and aqua water. It is worth the price wish we could have stayed there all day! Want to go back to Passion Island soon! Please keep this as an excursion worth the price!
