snorkeling? then you must try the catamaran/beach break snorkel tour! the staff was outstanding...very attentive, friendly & give great instruction for first time snorkelers. the private beach you're taken to is absolutely beautiful! they have float mats, kayaks, lounge chairs & hammocks. drinks are free at the beach & on the boat. no one wanted to leave! it was awesome!!
--shopping in Cozumel is fun too. take a taxi to the shops...somewhat far to walk especially in the heat/humidity. taxi is only $6 (no matter how many passengers)
--the Margaritaville in Cozumel is AWESOME!! right on the water with a stunning view. great decor inside & out, plus very friendly staff w/great service!

Don't Miss: the catamaran snorkel/beach break tour and also Margaritaville
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
once again, have an excursion planned for this port or you will be at the mercy of the locals. this is a poor country, so they are agressive to make any money they can while the ship's in. the village shops (also where Margaritaville is) are very close to the ship, so a walk to there is fine as you won't be bothered too much. the atmosphere/landscaping of the village shops is very nice.
someone was on the microphone for hours at Margaritaville which took away from the experience of relaxing Buffett music. Recommend you wait to eat at the Margaritaville in Cozumel, Mexico.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)
unfortunately Royal Caribbean has not instructed the local staff in Labadee to not smother the guests. from the moment we walked on the island, they were pressing to get lounge chairs arranged for us for tips. one worker even walked a great length next to us hoping for a tip when we told him we were just walking around checking it out. the market w/local crafts was interesting, but again the staff were very pushy. we ended up going back to the ship early.
* recommendation: have an excursion planned for this port. otherwise you will be at their mercy.
George Town, Grand Cayman
very clean, safe and no one solicits you! nice relaxing port. may want to have an excursion...shopping is moderate. the Margaritaville is on the bland side decor wise. service/menu selections were not too great either. Once again recommend you wait to eat at the Margaritaville in Cozumel, Mexico.
