Review summary

The Mariner of the Seas was our first cruise and it was fantastic. We really enjoyed all the shows and entertainment and "The Coasters" were EXCELLENT! I really wish we had more time at the ports we stopped in, St. Thomas and St. Martin, as there wasn't enough time to shop and lay around on the beach. We will have to plan better if we do it again. This being our first cruise, I don't have anything to compare it to but I can't imagine anything any better. Everything was GREAT!

Ports of call

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

3 out of 5
Waters were dirty, there were 7 ships on the island at one time so it was very crowded. Enjoyed the tour of the island.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Shopping was a waste of time as there were the same stores as St. Thomas. Enjoyed the tour of the island.
Don't Miss: The beach

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

Used this as a relaxation point and getting odds and ends for the trip.
Don't Miss: The Coco Loco drinks

Pros: Shows

Cons: Ports of Call were too rushed
