Review summary

To sum it all up.....we will be going on another Caribbean cruise next year and only, I repeat only, on the Royal Caribbean..no other cruise line compares to them.

Ship experiences

Entertainment

5 out of 5
There were so many activites that you couldn't attend all since some were at the same time. For instance, there was a drawing for a piece or artwork at the same time as Bingo. We wanted to do both but couldn't. Instructions were great. Every day the instructions for Bingo were announced.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every staff member always had a smile on their face. These people work so very hard and deserve every bit of our respect. From out stateroom attendant (she is absolutely delightful) to our waiters (believe it or not, the other table that our waiter was working didn't give him the gratuity on the last day. They went out to one of the ship's restaurants the final night. Our table felt so bad for him.) The entertainers were outstanding. Loved our cruise activities fellow.

Excellent

Cabin / Stateroom

Our stateroom was perfect in size for 2 people - ocean view; always clean.

Ports of call

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Highly recommend the tour of Blackbeard's Castle which includes a tour of historical buildings. Naturally, the shopping is a must. But I didn't bring enough money.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

We just did the beach this day and it was outstanding. The tour guide was great. She was giving us a description of all buildings, plants, etc. along the way.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

3 out of 5
We chose to take a tour on the glass bottom boat. Many of us expected the whole bottom of the boat to be glass and it wasn't. There was a "plank" in the middle which took away from seeing many of the fish.

Pros: Everything....the ship, food, activities, room and most importantly the people who work on the ship

Cons: Need activities for the 21-25 year old singles who do not sit in the bar and get drunk.
