Room Type: Balcony

This was our third cruise with Royal Caribbean, but the first on the Mariner of the Seas...it is huge!!!! and has something for everyone..while I thought 7 days might be too long for us, it turned out we didn't want to come home...and are already looking for our next one to book...Don't miss Dunn's Falls in Jamaica...tour through Grand Cayman, just okay...Cozumel has best prices on souvenirs and excellent tequila!!!!

Pros: The adult pool was a joy when you wanted to get away from the noise

Cons: Getting dressed up! But eating at the buffet was very good

Recommends Mariner of the Seas? Yes!

Service and Staff
Our cabin steward was excellent...
Ship Quality
At first hard to get around, but eventually you get the hang of it
Food and Dining
Dining room food was excellent..a little too formal....buffet good...when we didn't want to dress up..
Cabin / Stateroom
First time we had a balcony and we will ALWAYS have one from hereon in....great to sit outside when you are in port or have a day at sea
Entertainment
Shows a little late for us..but we forced ourselves to stay up and enjoy!
Cozumel, Mexico
Royal Caribbean has done an excellent job with the new port they pull into..great place for souvenirs...
George Town, Grand Cayman
Nice, expensive....
Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)
Like Coco Cay better....was impressed though that there were lots of chairs for everyone..
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Jamaica is always the same...not too friendly, but pushy natives!
Don't Miss: Dunn's River Falls
