Review summary

On the whole the food was good. There is plenty of space to sit and while away an hour or so. The library is nice

Food was okayish, bland in flavour and not very french, rather dumbed down in fact. All rather pretentious sadly.

The Grand Dining

Evening meals with Olga, Susan and Luka on the wine were brilliant.Sadly, breakfast was very very slow and poor. After 45 minutes of waiting it arrived cold. By which time I couldn’t be bothered to send it back. Head waiter didn’t seem to have a grip on what was going on.

Rather overrated and unlike Red Ginger felt very crowded with little room between tables.

Butler, Olha and team were brilliant. As for the reception staff offhand, brusque and dismissive. Made to feel I was interrupting them from their proper jobs. Bill was wrong, three times I asked them to alter it, three times they said they had done it. It was still wrong! Of course it was I who was out of pocket not Oceania.

The staterooms do need a refit and fast.

Cabin / Stateroom

Butler Larson and Olha were brilliant as were the rest of the team Penthouse cabin was spacious but the balcony was not. No sun lounger here. Cabins were very dark and in need of the upcoming refit.
