Although having only one choice for eating after 2:00 pm in the daytime until dinner was not ideal. If you were on an excursion and returned in the late afternoon, your only option for food, other than room service, is a sandwich/salad station.
Our best experience on board was with the on board Culinary Chef and his class, it was outstanding.
They need to give you port information concerning weather etc the night before you dock so you can prepare for the day. Telling you the morning of your arrival is not really helpful.
For the hype given this cruise line, we found the level of service overall to be unimpressive.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Overall, the food was excellent, presentations are beautiful.Proportions size was perfect.
Bread should be cut back, I watched, too much go to waste and the same amount is served to a table of 2 as a table of 6.
In the terrace grill, which is buffet style, if you were seated instead of feeling as though everyone was fighting to get a table, the experience would be more pleasant and make a huge difference in the level of service.
This was especially evident in the morning rush when most everyone is trying to get to an excursion.
Even though you are lead to believe that you will be able to get reservations at the specialty restaurants when you want that is not the case.If my husband had not been overly persistent, we would not have not gotten in, only to find, some nights, many empty tables when we were seated.
Onboard Activities
Did not really participate in any, nothing interested us.
Entertainment

The string quartets and piano trios were great, we did not attend any shows.
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
in general, just not impressed.
However, the attendant that serviced our room, Gedde, was fantastic!
We requested a few things of the butler that we never received a response on.
We asked the concierge on our floor for something as well and never got a response.
There were several times we had to request ice for the room even though we had asked that the wine bucket be continually kept iced.
A couple of times we did not even get a call back when we tried to call for something.
We found the main floor concierge and destination service staff to be quite un helpful and terse as well.
The staff handling the shore excursions could do a better job of explaining the process.
The maitre'd's in the specialty restaurants acted as though they were doing you a huge favor if they were able to fit you in.

Cabin / Stateroom

Loved the cabin, roomy, storage and closet space amazing!!
Bathroom was lovely and spacious.
Clean and always kept stocked.
Ship tip
Read the information that you are given every night carefully, there are good tips on what is going on in the port cities, as well as hours for the restaurants etc. In some cases that changed.
As well as any ship activities.
Loved this city what we got to see of it, definitely would have liked ,more time here.
We went into the markets with the Culinary school Chef from the ship and it was fantastic!
