Very good thick process

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Quality food but let down by a lack of staff leading to slow service and used glasses and crockery being left on tables for a long time

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
lack of activities

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Average shows with bars having only average singers

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our steward Putu cabin 136 was fantastic as good as they get, some of the bar staff were sullen not the usual jovial approach ,I think this is possibly down to being over worked due to lack of staff

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Very clean but she is an old girl with an old design

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Spotless well maintained, brilliant steward Putu cabin 136

Ports of call

Dubrovnik, Croatia

Thanks for your review, we’re on the celebration in mid Oct and are looking forward to a nice small ship ambiance despite other ‘that’s what you get with TUI’ comments. I guess that they haven’t tried the Marella Discovery or Explorer class ships. We find them excellent value for money and revisiting the Celebration after our last cruise on her (which was excellent) 11 years ago will be interesting. 😎
