If it were not for my family going on this cruise I would have been done with carnival

We had a fun time. Ship is beautiful with plenty to do.

Food options were poor, and cooked poorly. Shows were by guests, so little money spent to entertain. We have sailed with carnival three times and got no rewards as this was poorly done

The home sweet home excursion on Grand Turk was the best

All around excellent cruise. Would definitely cruise on the Mardi Gras again

All in all it was a great experience. The food was better than expected even though it was not always great. I felt the bars needed more staff as they got backed up a ton. The coffee shop was always a crazy line but when we found the bar on the 8th floor with the Espresso machine the last couple of days were much better. Security did what they could but the teens destroyed equipment in the arcade and it made that experience tough for younger kids. In addition security did not do a good job of policing the Basketball courts. I understand that teenagers will cuss but it was so graphic and inappropriate that most kids would not go in there because it was so aggressive in there. I feel security should not allow kids to yell out racial slurs and extreme language when there are a ton of little kids around. My kids learned way to many new words and racial slurs.

Overall I really enjoyed our cruise but I think I’m a bigger fan of the dream class of ships, mainly because the layouts are much simpler and less people. Lines were everywhere Mardi Gras, including food spots. And the layout of the shop was difficult to navigate, especially with strollers.

Enjoyed the ship and ports . I would recommend this cruise .

We would not sail the Mardi Gras again. Would really reconsider the drink package. Getting on and off was fast and easy. Have had much better experiences on other cruise lines.

We enjoyed everything about this cruise! Staff was great, room was great, and embarkation / disembarkation was fast!!

We always take the island tour the first time we visit, to learn the culture and history of each one. The Mardi Gras’s didn’t disappoint at all she was as awesome on our third voyage as she was on the first. Try her or one of her sister ships won’t be disappointed 🛳️🛳️🛳️.

I think Carnival was only concerned with capacity when purchasing this ship , and felt that if there was a fire , or any other emergency onboard it would ensue major chaos due to the poorly designed layout! I felt uneasy due to the layout!

We met some very nice people and were able to hangout with for the seven days. I’m not a complainer but just remember it’s a very large ship with a lot of people so just relax and enjoy yourself. A day on vacation is better than a day in reality. ENJOY YOUR LIFE

The Mardi Gras was a big, beautiful ship! My family and I always found something fun to do. We were never bored! We also enjoyed the different food options. It was all great!

overall we had a wonderful vacation aboard this ship. My expectations were low having done 1 Carnival cruise previously that was not a good experience. That being said this cruise exceeded my expectations and I would consider this ship again in the future

The service was fantastic, there was plenty to do, the ports were beautifully kept up, as was the ship. Our room was small but comfortable, and our room attendant was wonderful. Our Palms dining room waiter Rodney was absolutely amazing, probably one of the most hospitable waiters I have ever encountered. He always anticipated our needs, and there were 12 of us in our party alone. Again our stateroom attendant checked in on us, greeted us by name even when passing in the hallways, Jeffrey was wonderful. The bartenders were fun to converse with, and wanted to ensure you were enjoying yourself. TJ the cruise director had great energy. All the stewards were polite, and very helpful. Could not have asked for a better trip.

Had fun with our group but crowded. Crew was good our steward was great

Mardi Gras is a great ships with lots to do and see.
