Review summary

Disappointed key features that made me decide to pay extra to book this particular ship didn't work (Rollercoaster, waterslide). Ship was nice but compact. Food was inconsistent. Enjoyed the various destinations.

Expected better cuisine/flavor in the main dining room since the cruise New Orleans themed; food was a hit or miss. Shaq's Big Chicken, Guy's Burger, and the Seafood Shack were great though.

BEWARE the Rollercoaster was BROKE the ENTIRE 8-day cruise. The best waterslide was broke the entire cruise as well. thatPools are small and crowded. Ship in general is compact via shared general areas.

Ship was clean. However, I found the common areas to be compact and less roomy than other Carnival ships I've been on although the Mardi Gras is considered Excel class

BEWARE if you are booking this ship for the Rollercoaster, New Orleans cuisine, and free-fall waterslde you just might get want you are expecting/paying for.
