We've cruised with Carnival a number of times, and have grown very tired of the overall poor food quality. Hoped that all of the dinning options on this ship would provide a welcome change, but that's not the case. This mega-size ship is just too large to be enjoyable. It'll be some time before we cruise with Carnival again. We're sorry to say that we left this cruise just as tired and stressed as when we started. One of our worst cruises!
Embarkation

Lots of stops, but good all-in-all
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
The food in the main dining room was awful. Emeril should be ashamed of the poor food offered. Guy's Pig & Anchor BBQ was by far the best, but very casual! Street Eats and Shawarma were good choices.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Lot & Lots of walking on this big ship - even the comedians laughed about it! The design of the roller coaster cars looked like it would put all of the stress and pressure on your lower back (unable to sit back in the seat) and made this a non-starter.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Uneven, but they all tried hard. Several large venues for performances and the comedy club was good. Loved the big LED backdrop screen.
Service and Staff

Good service and friendly staff, but had to pick-up a daily activity guide on our own every day!
Ship Quality

Access to Decks 16, 17 and 18 was problematic from the forward cabins. Usually had to go up and then down and around. Wonderful lounging area on Deck 17, but only on the Starboard side and no pass-throughs (often had to walk through the smoking area).
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
The interior cabin wasn't large, but laid out well. Liked the enclosed shower, but the door really got in the way at times.
Liked San Juan, but it was all torn up - lots of streets and avenues under heavy construction. This was our second visit, but we wouldn't suggest going there right now!
