Review summary

We had a wonderful birthday cruise for my wife. This was our 3rd cruise on our way to 13 this year alone. Hoping to get to Diamond Level soon.

Embarkation

The embarkation was easy. I have found that if I arrive at the port during or after my scheduled arrival time then I get to go to the front of the line. Seems like a good theory, but for the Mardi Gras I tested my theory and it worked. I was on the Carnival Liberty back in January and listening to the Port of Canaveral staff they stated it was gonna be busy with the Mardi Gras coming in later that day and they said, “I hope everyone shows up on time for their appointment and we don’t have to move a lot of people to the front of the line.” So, I tested the theory and it worked. FYI!😎

Our room attendant was the best. One our lights went out and the privacy separator between the cabins on the balcony broken. He had it all fixed before we got back from breakfast. He kept our room tidy and Endi was on top of all our requests and made the cruise quite pleasant.

Getting off the ship was quick and seamless. If you don’t have a passport, then the waiting in line with a birth certificate and license is painfully long. Get your passport to avoid long long lines. All cruise ports are using facial recognition to move the lines faster if you have a passport!!

Very friendly and fun. One of the best ports to visit and enjoy the city and the excursions.

Amazing port of call. You have to try the Puerto Rico Piña Colada. It is truly smooth and wonderful.

Chef's Table!! If you have not done this onboard activity you are truly missing out. The wine is included and not charged against a drink package or extra charge. The meal is absolutely awesome and the tour of the galley is wonderful.

The lunch at Cucina was amazing and it's awesome lasagna. It's made with beef and short ribs. Wow!

Plan to go to see Jackie at the adult only private beach excursion with lunch. The rum punch and lunch was amazing and the staff extremely friendly.

Photo does not match the description. But the comedy was clean and the adult comedy was not too explicit.
