Embarkation was smooth. We always get faster to the fun. We were onboard within 30 minutes of arrival.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Overall the food was good. We ate in most places f the restaurants including the specialty. We weren’t a fan of Chibang. Cucina Del Capitano was good. Main dining room was generally good, we did have some issues with slow service. But there were 6,000 people on board, so that’s expected. Emeril’s was amazing, my husband loved the shrimp creole omelet. Rudi’s was good but unless you like a wide variety of seafood I would skip. Steakhouse was good, but honestly I’d rather order the steak house selection in the main dining room. Bonsai Teppanyaki was hands down my favorite dining experience. Food was phenomenal and the show was even better. It was interactive and fun. If you are going to spend money in specialty dining that’s the one to choose.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
It’s hard to get a spot by the pool. People come up and out towels out super early. But the staff watch and if you’re gone an extended time they will pick your stuff up and free up the chair. This was helpful.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Always lots to do. Our favorite was Punchliner. We got to see Steven Michael Quezada from Breaking Bad. My husband loved that show and actually got to meet him after. We didn’t catch much other entertainment on board, but we loved what we saw.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Overall staff was friendly and helpful. We did have some slow service at dinner a few nights, one instance we didn’t get dessert. But there are over 6,000 people on board, so that’s to be expected. Steward was great.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship is stunning! We got a last minute balcony upgrade and it did not disappoint. I love the bathroom design, and the usb ports at the bed. Ship is immaculate.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was beautiful. Bathroom design is so much nicer with the shower door versus curtain. Beautiful views from the balcony. Also television and movie selection were better than we’ve had on previous cruises.
Ship tip
Look over the layout before you go. It’s a big ship and takes a while to remember where everything is. The doors are motion activated. Make sure the door is locked before you use the restroom. People walk by waving their hand and the door opens.
We did the Amber Cove beach club all inclusive. Food was okay, it included a lot of American foods. I would’ve liked to see more local food offerings. Drinks were great. Water had really receded where we were at. There was a large mass of rocks stretching along the shore line probably 3 or 4 feet in. Made it difficult to swim. Overall enjoyable.
This was by far my favorite port ever. The beach is right when you get off the boat. We got a clamshell and two beach chairs right away. Had lunch at Margaritaville and relaxed in the ocean. Beautiful crystal clear water❤️
We were off the ship before 7 am. Only took 10 minutes to walk off. We used port to port shuttles for our transportation. They were great to work with, I’d use them again.
