Being our first cruise, we have nothing to compare this to but I can honestly say that the staff took very good care of us. We had a great time. There is a new cruise director. His name is Lee Mason. He is a great person. There is some upcoming talent. His name is Gabe. He made all his activities fun and enjoyable. I can’t say enough good things about this cruise.
Embarkation

Very fast. We walked in shortly after our check in time, answered some questions, got our bags screened and walked onto the ship. It couldn’t have taken more than 15 minutes

We didn’t have a bad meal. I believe we hit every restaurant and each one served excellent food.
Onboard Activities

We spent our time onboard watching shows, shopping and playing bingo. I did some of the outdoor activities such as Bolt and the ropes course. They were both fun. Bolt had some electrical issues but there was a technician there and he fixed it up pretty quickly.
Entertainment

Lots of great shows. Seen a few in the theater and several at central stage. The actors were very good and did a fantastic job with their performances.

Our room steward kept our room clean and was very nice. Made the stay on the ship very comfortable. He was great at towel animals. He was great.
Ship Quality

The ship was always clean. If there was any clutter, it wasn’t long before it disappeared. The crew was great at keeping things well maintained
Cabin / Stateroom

This is an ocean view suite. It was very nice and roomy for two people. It is longer than a standard balcony. I liked that it came with a full size shower. It made it easier if we were able to get ready at the same time.
Ship tip
Be patient with the public restrooms. The sensor system is great but it takes forever to close the door. Needs to be better instructions or more public explanation.
Got on the ship. We did eat at the port the day before. Grills seafood. It was a hopping joint. Service was ok. Food was good. Give it a try if you have a chance
If you want to shop, it’s a place to go. We did go through the walking on air bridges. It has different birds and they are mostly tame and eat from your hand.
We purchased a excursion from Carnival. We went to Gumbalimba park and Tabyana beach. The only thing I didn’t like is that they charged you at Tabyana for food. Other than that, the excursion was great. We seen lots of animals and I snorkeled at Tabyana for a while. Seen all kinds of fish and coral. Very pretty.
