We liked this ship so much, we've already booked for Feb 2023. Wanted to try the Havanna Suites, so that's what we have. Love the ship, love the crew, entertainment, etc. Just wish Carnival could figure out how to go to some different ports. But when we cruise in late winter, we are basically going to relax and get some sun (and be waited on!)

Buffet - meh. MDR good food; not great; Steakhouse and Rudy's
was excellent. Pig & Anchor - yuck; Guys Burger - thumbs up.
Onboard Activities

Serenity area is terrific; spent most of our time there. It was quiet; lots of chairs; two hot tubs.
Entertainment

OMG - The entertainment on the MG blows everything else away; top notch; lots of visuals; aerialists; it is very well done.

Thankfully, no children.
Service and Staff

Steward and team was excellent; all food and bar venues were excellent service; very attentive. Also Mike was the CD and he is terrific.
Ship Quality

MG is a beautiful ship; don't let the size fool you; take a self-guided tour after embarking; it is very logically laid out. Decor is beautiful; common areas great and well maintained. They could benefit from more public restrooms in the higher traffic areas (around theater, etc).
Cabin / Stateroom

Just your basic balcony cabin; clean, very comfortable. For this cruise, we were on the port side which was the side facing away from every stop except Grand Turk. Not a big deal. Love the shower door as opposed to the nasty curtains!
Ship tip
Get to the Center Stage area early if you are interested in a show; it is small and if you have to sit at the back, you can't see everything. Don't miss Voodoo Moon!
