I would not go back on this ship, because not all of the staff but most were rude, and did not seem to care about you are your issues. Plus I am a smoker and not being able to smoke for 11 hours is not even close to customer satisfaction.

Maybe you should not cruise or gas your car if you think smoking during fueling operations is OK (and despite 'common' knowledge, diesel fuel CAN be ignited by an idiot smoker's cigarette, been there, saw the fireball, was part of the firefighting team). As far as 11 hours, if you are that much of an addict, you might have something *fun* to look forward to - my dad was a heavy smoker, he went from age 72 to 77 in a 100% FULL care nursing home painfully regretting his smoking. As far as the people on the ship, I thought that the crew was mostly outstanding, some just ok, but none were really bad. Looking forward to our next Panorama trip!

You don't smoke while gassing up your car so I think this may be something similar. As a former smoker, I was okay with the rules since smoking was my bad habit and not everybody else's.

We enjoyed our cruise on Jan.8 and the staff was very nice and helpful

Also, on my Jan 8 cruise, we found staff to be super helpful and nice, asking what they could do for us. They worked their butts off and still made time to be friendly.

When we were on the MG in January, the only time smoking was not allowed was when the ship was being fueled while in port. It would have been extremely easy to walk off the ship and down the pier to get your fix.

MoMan63 has a great idea! Board later and the time you are not allowed to smoke will be shorter. Not sure where the 11 hours came from but it sounds like an exaggeration. Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations.

Wear a nicotine patch. That's what my husband does and he made it through a 19 night cruise without a single cigarette. And he had a great time.

Then don't cruise...if you need it that bad

Then don't cruise ....the cruise keeps everyone safe ...not just all about you

Look... if smoking is that important to you then select a later boarding time. Then when you board the ship will be done fueling.

I found the crew on MG to be outstanding!

Thanks for the review. Glad you enjoyed most of it. I’m not sure allowing smoking during refueling is a wise thing to do.
