Review summary
Not the best or worst experience. Goal was reading, relaxation, and beaches. Two out of three, not bad. Too cold to enjoy beaches. Also, the ship is old, tired, and in need of renovation.

4 out of 5
Good food, great staff, nice variety
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Lots of karaoke, lots of trivia.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Two of the evening stage shows were knock-out excellent. Others were ok. Wish there had been more options for dancing.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Staff are all friendly, smiling, and service oriented.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Clean, but ship is very tired looking. Chairs in showroom are awful and hugely uncomfortable.
Cabin / Stateroom

Actually, we upgraded to an ocean view on the 8th floor. The cabin was typical (small, small bath) but the bed was the most uncomfortable bed we've ever slept on. Though our room steward was outstanding.
Ship tip
This is a tired and old ship, that visits only 3 ports. As such, 4 days are at sea on a ship that does not offer much in the way of good entertainment. Spend more for a better ship with better amenities and attractions.
January was not the best month to visit. It was still too cold to enjoy the water. Though the set-up is ideal with lots of fun water activities (beach, pools, water amusement park, volley ball, etc.)
I totally agree about the chairs in the showroom. I felt like I was sliding out of it every time we went to a show. Our first cruise was on Majesty, so we didn’t have anything to compare it to. We had a blast, but now that we have been on bigger ships with so much more to do, we decided we wouldn’t waste our time on the smaller ships unless they go to ports we really want to go to and the larger ships don’t stop there. That said, any cruise ship going to a tropical destination is better than winter in Indiana 😂😂
Definitely good to do your research before booking. Had you checked it out you could have booked something more enjoyable. Funny to see people complain about the weather in a review. I guess the cruise captain should've turned the heat up ;)
Its the oldest ship in the fleet. It is tired. I was on it in february and we had a blast except for the Detroit Cruisers throwing in the pool a couple times a day. It being retired after this year
