It's not age of ship the determines age of passangers as much as it is cruise venue and time of year. Lots of retired people cruise in winter months especially January and February. During summer months when kids are off from school you will see more of them on cruises too.

Sounds like our kind of ship. We donā€™t need amusement and water parks or constant entertainment to enjoy a cruise.

Can't blame the cooler weather on Royal. Yes, older ship with older crowd; one of the reasons I'm looking forward to my turn.

A cruise is what you make it. Sounds like you went in expecting everything from a small ship. If you want lots to do, go on a large ship. Research before you book. Getting sick happens when there are so many people, probably not from fruit.
