Review summary

We enjoyed our time on the ship. One reminder for others is if there's a complaint, make it politely and to the appropriate party. We listened to a woman rant over changes to the Diamond Lounge and services to someone who had no way to improve anything, other than pass it along. She then came to us with her rant. I explained we had heard her complaint already and weren't interested in hearing further. This was just after boarding - set a poor tone. We did put it behind us.

When requiring a wheelchair to get on the ship, patience is needed. My husband is short on that, so a wait may be expected.

This is a Jr. Suite. It was quite clean, smaller than expected, but it suited us fine.

Ship tip

Be aware that it is an older, smaller ship. We loved that we could get around easily. Lately, we've been a bit spoiled by the larger ships. Still, it is always good to get away and meet new people.

We visit this city often, so only had a hotel stay.

Too cold and windy for our enjoyment, but it's a great port to visit.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

Walked the area by myself. Tram service was not as convenient as touted, so my husband went back onto the ship. They've worked hard on development. Lots of shops, but the merchandise is the same in each.

Weather sent us back to Key West.

Disembarkation

Area for handicapped was so filled that many couldn't be seated. It was hard to watch them be so uncomfortable.

Peoples sense of entitlement because they purchased a ticket is very irritating. Like you I don't want to hear people bitch and moan and ruin or experience

I can't stand people who think its appropriate to scream at others, especially when the other person is in no way responsible for whatever they're unhappy about.

Glad you enjoyed it and didn’t let a few issues or people ruin your trip. I’m always amazed at how many people seem to let something fairly insignificant (change to the Diamond Lounge, wrong order at dinner, etc.) ruin their entire cruise. Nothing is ever perfect, but nothing is ever all bad either.
