Review summary
All in all this was a great cruise. Our sailing was about 85% senior citizens which was fine with us as we were not looking for a party boat. It is a very, very small ship (can't stress this enough) you will feel the motion of the ocean. It also does not have the party atmosphere and all the activities of the mega ships. The rooms are small and there are no balcony rooms. However, this ship seemed to have some of the most friendly staff I have encountered. I have to give another shout out to our room steward Marlon, he was amazing!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Very easy, no hassles
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We only ate in the main dining room for dinner once, it was very chaotic and they seemed disorganized. We dined in the main dining room for lunch twice, once was very smooth and the second time chaos reigned as they gave the wrong menus and no one seemed to know what the correct menu was, it was a two and a half hour ordeal. The buffet was great most days, we had one day that was sub par. We enjoyed the deli and the Sorrento's pizza.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
The pools were ok but were a little on the cold side, the hot tubs were luke warm at best. We did not use the fitness center or the climbing wall
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The shows were phenomenal, we especially enjoyed the comedians they had onboard
Children's Programs
We had no children with us
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service on this ship was amazing. Our room steward Marlon was the best we have ever had on any ship we have sailed and the buffet manager Elizabeth was great as well.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was clean and maintained well for an older ship
Cabin / Stateroom
1 out of 5
The room was very small, it was like sleeping in a walk-in closet. The beds were hard. The room was clean and well maintained
Ship tip
Do your research on the ship prior to sailing and know what to expect, also ask the steward to separate the beds. It will make your week much easier.
This was our second visit to Nassau, we shopped walked around and shopped but some of the people can be very demanding and pushy. We got a taxi to Atlantis and walked around and enjoyed the grounds
We enjoyed the beach and swam. There are plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas for everyone. The food at Chill Grill was fantastic. We did not go to the water park but still had a great day
We were given tags with locations and times to disembark. Our time to disembark was 9:30-9:45 at 9 am they announced that all passengers must leave the ship. Not sure why they would assign times if they were not going to follow the schedule.
